Release notes

Version 1.2.5 of the Fresco platform was released on 19th March 2025.

New features

Margin spacing can be added to an individual component via the Styling tab. This enables components to be elegantly spaced on a page
Teaser layouts have been created for Landscape Image, Landscape Text Only, Landscape Thumbnail, Portrait Icon, Portrait Image, and Portrait Text for all default content types to enable content to be displayed in a variety of ways in selected and dynamic listings
It is possible to add link text to appear next to an icon. This will enable the creation of contact details in the header and footer
Appearance / Styling contains Header and Breadcrumbs per Numiko's designs
Listings have been styled per Numiko's designs

82387	If no link is added to a banner or image in a banner, no link is present
83400	When multiple pieces of content share a title, all content items are displayed in Listings when they are all selected to display
82734	Icons on buttons match the size of the font used in the button text
83320	When an icon is added from the Material Icon set into a button within a banner or card, the icon is displayed rather than the name of the icon
82751	The Header no longer overflows vertically when adding components to Tabs. Components no longer overlap on the published node
82756	The Title field on the Media Gallery component is no longer mandatory and can be left empty without causing an error
82836	Captions added to images in the Media Library are now displayed by default when the image is used in an Image component
83317	The text that appears when hovering over the parts of the banner component (Title, Text, Button) is readable and passes accessibility checks on size and contrast. When a tooltip is displayed, it is positioned in a readable format
82149	All previews visible in Appearance / Styling for all card layouts correctly reflect the metadata styling as configured on the Styling page
83630	The non-functioning control to change the base font in Appearance / Styling has been removed. Font selection has to be configured separately for each component
83596	Adding an ordered or unordered list into a Text component display correctly as a bulleted or numbered list
85288	When a font has been removed or disabled but is still used by a styled component, the end-user is able to change the font to a valid one
